Emilie & Jordan | Caversham House

Set within the grandeur of Caversham House, this wedding was a masterclass in refined romance, where timeless architecture met modern, artful styling.

The ceremony unfolded in The Colonnade Gardens, a space defined by manicured formal gardens, cobblestone pathways and tranquil water features adorned with cast iron urns. Guests were guided through a sculpted landscape before arriving at an aisle framed by perfectly clipped topiary trees, leading beneath a romantic hedged archway to an intimate lawn setting.

At its centrepiece, The Colonnade platform offered a truly breathtaking perspective. Positioned at the crest of a four storey waterfall and enveloped by native gum trees, the ceremony overlooked the Hidden Gardens and the Swan River, creating a sense of quiet luxury and complete seclusion.

The design direction embraced a palette of soft, neutral stone tones, effortless, tonal and deeply considered. Florals were intentionally sculptural and unconventional, featuring a curated blend of lilies, cascading amaranthus and striking anthuriums. Each arrangement felt more like an installation bringing a refined, editorial edge while maintaining an organic softness.

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned seamlessly into the marquee reception, set adjacent to the gardens. The experience felt fluid and immersive, with the styling carrying through in a way that was cohesive yet understated. Every detail was purposefuL, nothing excessive, yet nothing overlooked.

This celebration was the perfect balance of structure and softness, tradition and individuality, an elevated garden wedding designed with intention, restraint and undeniable sophistication.
